The OnlyJeep.com Forums are for Jeep Enthusiasts to share their appreciation of Jeeps. OnlyJeep.com wants to thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running efficiently and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules. If you have any questions or problems, please contact us.

General Rules

• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, profanity (or attempts to bypass profanity filters), insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
• Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts.
• Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
• Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
• Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. Use 48 hours as a guideline.
• We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate OnlyJeep.com community standards. The OnlyJeep.com team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate our community standards.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
• We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
• All post must be made in English.
• Posts arguing about company policies are not allowed. You can contact us if you have issue with company policies.
• Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed.
• Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
• You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
• You cannot post advertisements (See exceptions below) or notices for contests.
• We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.

Advertising Products or Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited. The only exceptions are:

• Our authorized Vendor Forums, where an established agreement of terms exists between OnlyJeep.com and the Vendor.
• Our Classifieds Forum where the member has agreed to abide by OnlyJeep.com Rules and Terms of Service. Specifically the following Classified Forum Rules apply:

• The Classifieds Forum is not a place to advertise your business or for you to use as an eBay Store. It is for active, contributing members of OnlyJeep.com Forums to use to buy, sell or trade Jeeps, Jeep parts and Jeep accessories.
• The pictures of your item MUST be of the actual item(s) you are selling. Stock pictures from a website are acceptable, but ONLY in supplement to actual pictures.
• Your post must specify the location of the item.
• Your post must State what year and model the part or accessory for sale fits.
• Items in the For Sale Forums MUST have a price, if you are unsure then put a price and then OBO. "Make an offer" is not an acceptable alternative.
• NO THIRD PARTY SALES (selling items for a friend).
• No linking to eBay or other forum's for sale sections.
• THERE IS TO BE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCHANGES OF ALCOHOL, FIREARMS/WEAPONS, EXPLOSIVE DEVICES OR DRUGS WHETHER ILLICIT OR NOT. THERE IS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON THIS. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO DO THIS YOUR ACCESS WILL BE SUSPENDED AND THE DETAILS OF THE FORUM RULE VIOLATION WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE SITE ADMINISTRATORS.

DISCLAIMER: Buyer and Seller beware!

• This site was not created to be used as a free "Auto Trader" to non-active members.
• Any post made in this forum by a "non-active" member will be deleted and a warning will be given. Future violations will result in a tentative site access suspension.
• The only people who will be allowed to post before they become an active member are those who have been approved by the site Administrators.
• If you have questions feel free to PM a Moderator or Administrator.
• Be careful who you buy from, OnlyJeep.com is not responsible for ensuring your deal goes is completed successfully. Please keep these things in mind:

Buyers:

• Typically the seller would require you to send the money before shipping your part out – make sure you have an avenue to recover your money in the event this person does not ship anything out. Make sure you know how to reach this person.
• Be especially wary of new members joining to sell things! Your chances of being scammed are much higher with someone who isn't a regular member of the forum!
• Try to avoid sending money out of the country especially via Western Union; out of country scammers are virtually never prosecuted.
• If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Sellers:

• Joining this forum for the sole purpose of selling an item is frowned upon unless you're a site Vendor. In some cases your posts may even be removed!
• If you are suspected of selling and/or advertising products as a part of a company, your thread will be removed, and you must consult Administration about becoming a Vendor.

Login Security

You should never disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone. We cannot take responsibility if you disclose this information to anyone else.

Links in signatures must follow these guidelines

• Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with a product or service offered by OnlyJeep.com or an affiliate program.
• A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate OnlyJeep.com community standards. The OnlyJeep.com team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)
• Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.
• All signatures must be made in English

Signature Size Limits

• All signatures should not exceed the following limits
• You can't have both text and images in your signature
• For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 characters per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
• Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
• For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size
• Animated images in a signature are not allowed

Avatars

• Animated avatars are not allowed. Sorry.
• Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.
• Use of the OnlyJeep.com logo in avatars is not allowed.

Moderation

Although the administrators and moderators of OnlyJeep.com Community Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of OnlyJeep.com Community Forum, nor the developers of OnlyJeep.com will be held responsible for
the content of any message. By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violate any laws. The owners of OnlyJeep.com Community Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Staff Disputes Any disputes with the staff of the OnlyJeep.com Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System.

Addendum We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
